About Telemedicine

What is Telemedicine?

Telemedicine is the delivery of real-time medical advice over electronic and telecommunications devices. Telemedicine can be delivered using video-conferencing, audio communication, and/or text-messaging using mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers.

Doctors and other health care professionals can use telemedicine to see patients and consult with other health care professionals.

Telemedicine can be provided anywhere there’s a patient who has an acceptable device. Your laptop or smart phone can be used to access telemedicine.

Even though you are stuck in your home, you can still access Dr. Kaplan via telemedicine.
